Disc golf on the Estonian Islands

Why play here?
The Estonian Islands are not one compact course cluster. Saaremaa and Hiiumaa each have their own disc golf network, so a short trip usually works better when you choose one island and explore it properly rather than trying to collect both.
Planning your trip
Getting around
A car is strongly recommended for course-hopping and the main islands use different mainland ferry routes. Check ferry schedules before you travel, especially when taking a vehicle and when your itinerary depends on a particular crossing.
Where to base yourself
Kuressaare is the practical base for Saaremaa and Kärdla for Hiiumaa, but neither puts every course on your doorstep. The islands reward a base-and-drive approach rather than changing accommodation after each round.
Good to know
For a short trip, pick Saaremaa or Hiiumaa first. Hiiumaa combines naturally with West Estonia via Rohuküla, while Saaremaa is easier to treat as its own island leg.
