Disc golf in West Estonia
A quieter driving Region linking Haapsalu and Palivere with the more rural course network across Rapla County.
Why play here?
West Estonia has two different disc golf sides. Lääne County gives you Haapsalu and the more course-focused Palivere stop, while Rapla County is a dispersed mix of small-town and countryside courses that fits naturally into a road trip.
Planning your trip
Getting around
A car is strongly recommended if you want to explore both counties. The Region’s disc golf value comes from linking Haapsalu, Palivere and the more dispersed Rapla County courses rather than staying around one transport hub.
Where to base yourself
Haapsalu is the easiest base for the western side and for combining its course with Palivere. If your itinerary focuses on Rapla County, it is usually more efficient to treat that side as part of a driving route.
Good to know
Choose West Estonia for a slower road trip rather than a dense weekend course circuit. It combines naturally with Tallinn Area and also sets up the Rohuküla ferry route to Hiiumaa.
