North Estonia is less about one dense course hub and more about linking local rounds across Lääne-Viru County. Rakvere gives the Region a useful city anchor, while courses farther out add more forest, recreation-centre and small-town character.
Planning your trip
Getting around
A train or bus can get you to Rakvere, but a car makes far more sense for the Region as a disc golf trip. Courses sit in different towns and rural areas, so course-hopping is much easier by road.
Where to base yourself
Rakvere is the most practical base if you want restaurants, shops and accommodation between rounds. If your planned courses sit farther from town, staying closer to that part of the Region can reduce unnecessary backtracking.
Good to know
North Estonia works well as a quieter extension to Tallinn rather than a city break built around one course cluster. It also lines up naturally with East Estonia for a longer drive across the north-east.
