Disc golf in South Estonia
A wide road-trip Region where hills, forests and sports centres make the drive between courses part of the experience.
Why play here?
South Estonia is for players who want to travel between rounds rather than stay in one course cluster. Across Võru, Põlva, Valga and Viljandi counties you find more elevation, forest golf and courses built into active outdoor-sports landscapes.
Planning your trip
Getting around
A car is close to essential if disc golf is the focus. The Region covers four counties and courses are spread across towns, villages and sports centres, so public transport is better for reaching a base than for building a multi-course itinerary.
Where to base yourself
There is no single base for the whole Region. Otepää suits a Valga County and sports-centre route, Võru works for the south-east and Viljandi is the logical anchor for the western side.
Good to know
South Estonia suits a longer road trip better than a rushed weekend. Pair it with Tartu Area. Choose one side of the Region first and leave enough room in the plan for longer transfer legs.
